The LLNL Carbon Initiative—we seek to be a catalyst for Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR)
Beneath our feet, the capacity for carbon storage is vast. Achieving negative CO2 emissions, limiting the impacts of earth systems change, and building a new carbon economy will require active scaling of CDR and a better understanding of technical, biophysical, economic, and sociopolitical hurdles.
