PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS
Responsible for developing and sustaining partnerships that result in the advancement and deployment of carbon management solutions and technologies, including the removal of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and related community benefit plans. Partnerships that can live up to today’s climate challenge have to bridge local community, government, and project developer priorities. Kim’s interdisciplinary background across the academic, commercial, and non-profit sectors has made her well versed in the field of carbon dioxide removal and management, keenly aware of the spectrum of views that need to be reconciled in order to reach meaningful consensus in this field to responsibly scale carbon solutions that achieve a more habitable planet for all, while addressing historical and ongoing inequities.
Kim’s background in scientific research and communication in a variety of environments enable her to translate complex information into approachable language to advance multiple goals. She is known for convening and managing broad coalitions that span diverse interests and forging common ground.
